The Wellness and Beauty Products Worth the Splurge

I love a good product. I love a good brand. But I am quality driven before anything else, so if something is not good I will not use it, no matter how much hype it has. This week I am doing something different. No mindset, no hacks. Just the five products I am currently loving and why a few of them are worth the splurge.


Is the Dyson Airwrap actually worth it?

Yes, and it pains me to say it. It is a big investment, but I dry my hair three to four times a week and I have deceptively difficult hair that does nothing on its own. The Airwrap is a two in one, so I finally curl my hair without adding a whole extra step. Ten minutes and I have a blowout that lasts to the next day. I use three tools right now: the drying tool, the round brush, and the curling wand. I got mine with $150 off and a first-time deal, so watch for those. Worth it 110%.


The cleanser I cannot stop using

The Dieux Baptism Cleanser, spelled D-I-E-U-X. I have very dry, sensitive skin, so cleansers are tricky for me. This one is gentle, never strips, and it has a scent. I am a scent person. Nothing in your face, nothing Bath and Body Works. This is Neroli and something else, luxurious, like a little spa practice every time I cleanse. I am already eyeing their moisturizers.


The body wash that smells like a spa

Salt and Stone Body Wash in Saffron and Cedar. The scent is insane. Warm, elevated, slightly woody, a little sexy. Apparently it is a dupe for Baccarat Rouge. It makes me want to shower morning, noon, and night, and it does not dry out my skin. I also have the Rose and Oud, which I love, but this one wins. The shower upgrade I did not see coming

The Cyklar InShower Body Oil Balm. I upgraded my whole shower this winter and this was the surprise. I have dry everything, and this balm replaces the body oil plus moisturizer step. The trick: right after you turn the water off, before any towel, rub a good amount all over, then dry as normal. Do not dry off first or it will not work. Your skin comes out so soft. The vanilla scent is heavy in the bottle but settles into something light and perfect once you use it right.


My current lip balm

The Necessaire Lip Balm. I have been hunting for a clear balm that does not dry my lips out, and this one is doing the job. The glide is perfect, never sticky or goopy, and the metal tip feels so cooling. There is a little zest of mint that leaves you fresh and clean. I am not 100% on it yet, but it is the best I have found so far.
