About Our Virtual Sessions
Wellness, Wherever You Are
House of Undine is a virtual wellness space, which means you practice with us live, from wherever you are. Sound baths, breathwork, yin, and more, all held online and open to anyone with a quiet corner and a pair of headphones. Here is how it works, and why so many people find it goes even deeper than in person.
How Our Virtual Sessions Work
Every session is live over Zoom, guided by me in real time. For a sound bath you lie down and listen. For breathwork you follow the breath. For yin you move into long, slow holds. Keep your camera on or off, whatever feels comfortable. All you need is a little space and your headphones, and you are in the room with us.
Does Virtual Work as Well as in Person?
Yes, and once you understand how it works, it makes sense. A sound bath works through psychoacoustics, the way sound is perceived by your brain. The frequencies travel in through your ears, your brain responds, and your nervous system settles. That is the part that does the real work, and it comes through your headphones beautifully, intimate and undistracted, often clearer than a room.
I can tell you this firsthand. I have guided many people through virtual sound baths, and they come out just as relaxed, if not deeper. Their mind quiets, their body lets go, and they feel it everywhere. It is a wonderful practice. Most of my own training was done virtually, and some of the most powerful sound baths and breathwork I have ever been part of happened virtually, not in person, and I have done plenty of both.
And the instruments matter. I play premium alchemy crystal singing bowls, streamed so the frequencies reach you rich and full, never thin or tinny. What is well documented is the calming, parasympathetic response, and that is the part you feel every time.
Why Practicing From Your Own Space Goes Deeper
Here is what most people miss. Rest requires safety. Your body only drops into its parasympathetic, rest and restore mode, when it feels completely safe, and few places feel safer than your own bed, your own couch, your own quiet room. No one beside you. No one to notice you. Nothing to hold yourself together for. You can fully let go, and that is often where the deepest rest lives.
When a session ends, you do not have to surface, find your shoes, and drive home through traffic. You simply stay. Many people fall asleep, and that is allowed. The calm holds because nothing interrupts it. No commute, no parking, no studio to reach. You open your laptop and you are there. It is the most accessible deep rest there is.
You Are Still in Community
Virtual does not mean alone. Every session is live and shared, with people joining from cities you have never been to and time zones away. You feel the collective calm of resting together, the quiet knowing that you are part of something, all without leaving your home. Some of the most meaningful connections start with a face on a screen across the country. The room is simply bigger now, and the door is open to everyone.
Virtual Sound Baths
A sound bath is a sound meditation. You lie back and let the frequencies of crystal singing bowls wash over you while your mind settles, no effort required. The sustained tones guide you out of the busy thinking state and toward deep rest, and your nervous system shifts into its parasympathetic, rest and restore mode. Through headphones the frequencies reach you rich and intimate, which is why a virtual sound bath holds its full power from home. It is the most accessible deep rest there is.
Virtual Breathwork
Breathwork uses intentional, patterned breathing to move energy and emotion through the body. It is active, not a gentle wind down, and people often describe waves of feeling, real release, and a lightness afterward, like setting something down. It can bring genuine emotion to the surface, which is exactly why doing it at home is so powerful. In your own space you are free to feel it fully, with no one watching and nothing to perform.
Virtual Yin
Yin is the slow, deep, floor based practice your body has been asking for. You hold gentle poses for several minutes at a time, releasing into the connective tissue and letting your nervous system unwind. It is as meditative as it is physical. At home there are no mirrors and no comparison, just you, your breath, and your body, free to soften at your own edge.
What You Need to Join
Very little. A good pair of headphones, an eye mask, a comfortable spot to lie down or move, a few minutes where you will not be disturbed, and the Zoom link. Lower the lights and silence your phone. That is the whole setup. If you want to bump things up a notch: Grab a candle and a journal to write your intentions down in. For yin you may need a few things like a bolster or block but feel free to get creative with what you already have at home.
When and How to Join
We hold a live virtual sound bath every Monday at 8pm EST, and we are adding more all the time, breathwork, yin, and special sessions. Check the schedule above for everything coming up, then reserve your spot and you will get the link to join. You can also book a private session for yourself or a group.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do virtual sessions actually work?
Yes. The frequencies and guidance that calm your nervous system in person reach you through your headphones, and many people find the comfort of their own space lets them go even deeper.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. There is nothing to learn or perform. You show up, follow along, and let the practice carry you.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Keep your camera on or off, whatever feels comfortable. Most people prefer to close their eyes and disappear into the practice.
What do I need to join an online session?
Headphones, a comfortable space to lie down or move, a quiet few minutes, and the Zoom link. Lower the lights for the full effect.
Can you really feel part of a community online?
Yes. Sessions are live and shared, and there is a real sense of resting together, even from opposite ends of the country.
What if I fall asleep during a sound bath?
That is completely fine, and it happens often. Your body takes the rest it needs, and you still receive the benefits.
